Liferay was founded on the notion of giving back and leading by serving, and we empower our employees to do the same. Since the very beginning, our co-founders made it a priority to take the resources we gain through our products and pour them back into our local and global communities.

We believe that we can best serve our communities with both our resources and time, including partnering with local non-profit organizations to amplify the impact of our local offices. For example, the Liferay Brazil office serves as a community center for local kids to learn coding, robotics, chess, and other skills after school, and our team in Chicago volunteers regularly to pack food to distribute at a local Food Bank.
